Lore & Background

The story begins after the Blight has destroyed the kingdom of Land's End, turning all inhabitants into the Blighted. Lily, the last descendant of the White Priestesses, awakens in a church with no memory of recent events. She is accompanied by the spirit of the Umbral Knight, who had sworn allegiance to an ancient White Priestess named Nymphilia. Together, they seek the current White Priestess, Fretia, while purifying guardians and learning the kingdom's past through recovered memories.

Reader's Guide

The game uses 2D side-scrolling gameplay with a focus on combat, puzzle-solving, and exploration. Lily does not wield weapons herself; instead, she purifies spirits of deceased knights who then fight for her. Players start with a swordsman spirit and gain new abilities by defeating special opponents. Combat allows equipping three different spirits in two loadouts, switchable seamlessly. Skills are limited and require finding red flowers or resting to replenish. Relics scattered throughout the world provide synergies, and Chains of Sorcery allow equipping more relics. Upgrades include blights for skills, amulet fragments for health, and white flowers for prayer restoration. Three different endings are possible depending on player choices.
